Sodexo is seeking a Food Service Manager 2 to join our team at a premier auto manufacturing client site in Georgetown, KY. As a key member of the on-site leadership team, the Food Service Manager will report directly to the General Manager and lead a team of approximately 10 employees. This role is responsible for overseeing the daily food service operations at one café, as well as managing grab-and-go coolers and snack offerings. The ideal candidate will ensure excellence in food safety, sanitation, and customer service while maintaining efficient and high-quality meal production. A strong culinary background is preferred, as this position may occasionally support cooking and food preparation.

Oversee the daily operations of dining venue, ensuring quality food production, safety, and service standards.
Manage and develop frontline staff to ensure a positive team culture and consistent performance.
Control food and labor costs through effective scheduling, production planning, and inventory management.
Drive client satisfaction by responding to feedback, resolving issues, and maintaining strong client relationships.
Ensure compliance with all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety programs.

Previous experience managing dining operations, preferably in a contract food service setting.
Strong leadership skills with experience training and supervising hourly employees
Working knowledge of food production, basic culinary operations, and service execution.
Familiarity with food and labor management systems (e.g., UFS, Kronos).
Proven ability to deliver exceptional customer service and build positive client relationships.
A collaborative mindset and the flexibility to adapt in a dynamic environment.
