Role Overview

Sodexo is seeking a Registered Dietitian to come join their dynamic clinical team at Abbott Northwestern Hospital located in Minneapolis, MN. Position will cover the inpatient units and will be do some outpatient work. This position is scheduled to work ~32 hours per week with excellent benefits.

What You'll Do

  • Have prior behavioral health and outpatient education experience 
  • Use clinical research, advanced technology, and evidence-based practice to develop patient and family focused treatment plans 
  • Be a passionate leader who is willing to stay current with the scientific literature and help staff, patients and families understand nutritional strategies to support and improve quality of life and clinical outcomes while living with a chronic illness 
  • Work as part of a dynamic clinical nutrition team and will work with progressive patient systems 
  • Demonstrate and interest in partnering on research and outcomes, and will work to understand and improve nutrition approaches

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement:

Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) 

For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24:

Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) 

 

Credentials Requirement:

Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire.  In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hire
Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice. In some states and/or facilities state certification/licensure is required at the time of hire
