Role Overview

Sodexo is seeking a Food Operations Manager 3 for William S Hart Union High School District located in Santa Clarita, CA (30 miles from downtown Los Angeles). Our food operations manager will provide operational oversight and will work with our General Manager to implement and maintain Sodexo programs/systems/procedures. This is a key leadership role in establishing and maintaining an exceptionally high level of food service operational standards. At Sodexo, we deliver food, nutrition, environmental and facilities management solutions to partnered K-12 schools. Joining us at one of our school sites means fostering healthy learning environments and positively influencing the students’ well-being and performance. 

What You'll Do

  • Maintains and develops client relationships and customer satisfaction for multi-functional food service areas to ensure account retention and positive public relations
  • Establishes and maintains a safe work environment
  • Supervises multiple K-12 school sites day-to-day work activities by delegating authority, assigning, and prioritizing activities and monitoring operating standards
  • Utilizes Sodexo resources and programs to ensure operating standards and regulatory' requirements are met and employees have the necessary equipment and inventory'
  • Manages by providing positive and constructive feedback to employees in order to reward, coach, correct and motivate in order drive a high-level of employee engagement

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement - Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience

Minimum Management Experience - 3 years   

Minimum Functional Experience - 3 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
