The Human Resource Generalist provides guidance, support and training for frontline and leadership teams as well as operational leadership at the three Hazelden sites in Minnesota, one in Oregon, and one in California. This position works closely with Hospital leadership and the Sodexo operational teams to create the strategic plans for the food service departments that align with the Mission, Vision and Values of Hazelden Betty Ford as well administrative and financial tasks required for the sites we serve.  This leader will work closely with their teams to drive best practice using our Sodexo tools and resources, while working within the framework of Hazelden. 

 

 

The Human Resource Generalist will provide support to 115+ employees between 5 locations for Food Service for Hazelden Betty Ford.  This onsite position is based at the corporate office in Center City, MN.

 

Sodexo offers a range of services to healthcare facilities, including food, nutrition, environmental, facilities management, healthcare technology management, retail, and patient experience services. Employees at our healthcare sites play a crucial role in enhancing patient experience and well-being

What You'll Do

  • work daily in software systems such as Microsoft Office, ADP, Kronos, and applicant tracking system(s)
  • possess knowledge of state and federal HR laws
  • maintain active and terminated employee files
  • coordinate and manage required monthly/annual training
  • ensure integrity of business line internal financial reporting, prepare client income statements and billings
  • understand and respect sensitive and confidential information
  • support, engage, and create a culture to retain frontline staff
  • onboard staff 
  • support managers and the client with all HR related tasks

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
Minimum Management Experience - 2 years
Minimum Functional Experience – 1 year of HR experience
