Role Overview

Sodexo is seeking our Environmental Services-Custodial Operations Manager 2 for our client partners at Bartlesville Public Schools. Our successful candidate will work hands-on with the team when needed, have excellent organizational skills, work well with teachers, principals, maintenance staff and have great communication and interpersonal communication skills.

What You'll Do

  • Supervise custodial staff: Hiring, training, scheduling, and evaluating custodial staff, providing feedback and addressing performance issues.
  • Manage custodial operations: Ensuring facilities are clean, sanitary, and well-maintained, including inspecting areas for cleanliness and addressing any issues.
  • Budget management: Developing and monitoring the custodial budget, managing expenses, and making recommendations for equipment and supply purchases.

What You Bring

  • Maintain records and reporting: Keeping accurate records of work performed, preparing reports, and submitting budget requests.
  • Ensure safety and compliance: Maintaining a safe environment for staff and building occupants, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and standards.
  • Coordinate with other departments: Communicating with other departments and building users to address their needs and requests and coordinating services.
  • Event support: Coordinating custodial services for special events, meetings, and other activities that may impact the facility.
