Sodexo is seeking a dynamic career opportunity for a Human Resources Specialist for Grady Health.  Grady Health is situated in the heart of downtown Atlanta, GA. It's a level 1 trauma hospital consisting of 603 beds.  The Human Resources Manager will report to the General Manager and provide on-site support to approximately 15 Sodexo managers and 270 plus hourly employees on all hospital/Sodexo policies and procedures, HR initiatives and training. Previous Human Resources experience in a healthcare operation would be helpful. This position will manage both the main hospital and the Crestview Rehabilitation Center.

 

This is an on-site role with a schedule of Monday through Friday.

What You'll Do

  • manage and maintain personnel files and maintain personnel file tracker;
  • conduct frontline employee orientation and complete onboarding paperwork;
  • schedule new hire pre-employment tests and monitor test results as assigned;
  • lead resource for employee benefits and payroll questions;
  • create and organize employee leave of absence (LOA) files within Sodexo FMLA/LOA guidelines; and
  • engage and provide support with frontline and management staff regarding HR administrative questions, policies, and procedures.

What You Bring

  • fluent in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Teams) and Smartsheet;
  • able to create and facilitate training utilizing webinars;
  • detail oriented, flexible, and have ability to manage multiple priorities; 
  • a minimum of 1 year experience working within Human Resources; and
  • have excellent organization, communication and time management skills.
