Role Overview

Sodexo has an exciting opening for a Director, Supplier Diversity, to join our team supporting U.S. & Canada Region.

Sodexo is seeking a strategic leader to drive supplier diversity across North America as part of the supply management team, overseeing inclusive sourcing strategies that align with our Better Tomorrow plan and supply goals. This role manages $3B+ in diverse supplier spend, supports $1B+ in RFPs for North America and serves as the subject matter expert for supplier diversity across Sodexo, SodexoMagic, and Entegra .

This is a remote position, requiring travel up to 30%. Candidates should reside in the Eastern or Central time zones.

What You'll Do

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute supplier diversity strategies, establishing KPIs, scorecards, and performance metrics to grow inclusive procurement.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with business leaders internally and externally, clients, and external organizations to champion supplier inclusion and provide expert guidance for client-specific diversity initiatives.
  • Spend & Reporting Oversight: Manage certification tracking and integration of 3,000+ diverse suppliers into first- and second-tier supply chains. Deliver quarterly reporting to over 900 clients.
  • Program Development: Lead mentorship and education efforts to help vendors grow.  Drive compliance and innovation in second-tier initiatives.
  • Community & External Relations: Represent Sodexo at national and regional supplier diversity events, serve in leadership roles across external partnerships, and uphold the company’s brand reputation.
  • Global Alignment: Support global supply chain teams on international bids, inclusion strategies, and reporting for GSA clients and global segments.

What You Bring

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or related field
  • 10+ years of experience in supplier diversity, procurement, or food and facility management in a complex, matrixed organization
  • Proven success leading multi-million dollar supplier diversity programs and RFP initiatives
  • Strong executive presence and ability to influence senior leadership and client stakeholders
  • Excellent communication, public speaking, and presentation skills; comfortable representing the company in external forums
  • Ability to analyze data, develop KPIs, and drive measurable outcomes through strategic planning
