Food Service Manager 1

Sodexo is seeking a Food Service Manager 1 at  Howard University Hospital.  Howard University Hospital is a long standing partner with Sodexo with 155 beds. A private, nonprofit institution, HUH is the nation's only teaching hospital located on the campus of a historically Black university. It offers medical students a superior learning environment and opportunities to observe or participate in ground-breaking clinical and research work with professionals who are changing the face of health care. 

This position will be culinary focused with the responsibility surrounding the hospital's retail locations.

• create and deliver innovative and enriching café experiences for patients, family and staff daily; 
• deliver high quality food service; 
• collaborate with clinical, food service and interdisciplinary teams to enhance the retail experience;
• perform management functions that include direct supervision of hourly associates including employee development;

• develop and maintain client and customer relationships.

Minimum Education Requirement - High School Diploma, GED or equivalent experience
