Sodexo’s Campus Segment is seeking a hands-on, high-impact Executive Chef 2 to lead the culinary program at SUNY Delhi, located in Delhi, NY.
This role offers a unique blend of high-end plated dining, elevated buffet service, and a college-based restaurant, all within a vibrant campus environment. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in team leadership, menu execution, and exceptional client engagement, including alumni relations and executive-level service.
Lead all culinary operations for the main campus dining services and support summer conference and event programs.
Oversee and support the culinary program at the on-campus restaurant tied to the college’s golf course.
Deliver outstanding food experiences ranging from upscale plated dinners to high-volume buffets.
Mentor and develop a diverse culinary team—training, coaching, and fostering a strong kitchen culture.
Collaborate with the General Manager and front-of-house managers to ensure high-quality service delivery.
Manage and execute catering operations from planning through event execution.
Drive financial performance through effective food and labor cost controls.
Maintain Sodexo’s high standards for food and physical safety programs.

3–5 years of prior culinary management experience, ideally in higher education, hospitality, or conference settings.
Proven experience leading high-end service, banquets, and catering programs.
Strong team-building and mentoring skills with the ability to inspire a collaborative kitchen environment.
Excellent interpersonal skills with a client-focused approach, including comfort in alumni and executive settings.
Solid financial acumen—able to manage budgets, food and labor costs effectively.
Knowledge of food safety procedures and commitment to quality standards.
Flexibility to support seasonal and weekend events as needed.
