Role Overview

Sodexo is seeking a Human Resources Manager for Marquette University located in Milwaukee, WIMarquette University is a Catholic, Jesuit university located near the heart of downtown Milwaukee, WI. This Human Resources Manager will be responsible for implementing, coordinating and/or administration of HR programs, policies and procedures. Joining us at one of our campus sites enables you to positively influence college students' well-being and create a healthy learning environment. 

What You'll Do

  • Human Resources multi-unit management experience, providing generalist responsibilities for a diverse team of front-line and management level employees;
  • Knowledge of Federal, State and labor laws, to include compliance and regulatory items;
  • Employee Relations and Labor relations experience in an HR capacity
  • Management and processing experience for HRIS and payroll systems, preferably ADP;
  • Personnel file maintenance, EEO/AA Planning, and OFCCP experience;
  • Benefits administration and Employee Training and engagement experience;
  • Recruitment Experience in a high volume seasonal environment  or equivalent;
  • Strong computer skills to include Microsoft Office Suite;
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or equivalent experience and PHR certification preferred but not required.
  • Union experience is preferred

  • Strong attention to details as well as ability to be successful in a high volume, fast paced environment.
  • Computer literate in all MS Office products.
  • Skilled in the area of employee relations.
  • Union experience preferred 
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced work environment.

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience

Minimum Management Experience - 2 years          

Minimum Functional Experience – 2 years in HR
