Sodexo is seeking a hands-on Executive Chef 3 to lead food operations at Arnot Health, a 256-bed acute care hospital located in Elmira, NY. This role reports to the General Manager 3 and will manage a team of 52 client staff in a union environment.
The Executive Chef 3 will be responsible for ensuring high standards of food quality, safety, and service in a healthcare setting. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a passion for training and staff development, and a focus on quality assurance and patient satisfaction. Hours: generally, Monday–Friday, day shift (7:00 AM – 6:00 PM)-Must be flexible to work occasional weekends or evenings as needed.

Oversee all culinary operations including patient dining, retail food outlets, and catering
Lead development, training, and performance management for a union-represented team
Ensure food quality, safety, and sanitation standards are met or exceeded
Collaborate with clinical teams to support patient-centered care
Maintain inventory control, production schedules, and compliance with regulatory requirements

Minimum 3 years culinary leadership experience, preferably in healthcare or high-volume operations

Experience working in union environments is a plus
