Role Overview

Sodexo at the University of Albany is seeking an on-site Field Marketing Coordinator for our growing campus in Albany, New York.

 

This Marketing Coordinator will work with our operations teams to develop marketing strategies that provide a high level of service and innovation for Student Dining on campus - including Resident Dining, Catering, Mini Market, Multiple national brands and Food Retail Concepts. Marketing is focused on growth strategies for increasing sales for the unit, improving customer experience and promoting Sodexo’s Brand.

What You'll Do

 

  • Maintain a cohesive visual identity for University Dining across print materials, social media platforms, websites, logos, and brochures.  
  • Ensure that the University Dining’s desired image and position are clearly articulated and consistently communicated across various channels, both internal and external.
  • Conduct relevant market research with a focus on engaging and involving students in the university environment.
  • Coordinate and supervise activities to monitor industry trends and implementing strategies for optimization.

 

We are looking for a solid Marketing Specialist who:

  • Has 2 - 3 years full time marketing experience, food service background preferred.
  • Possesses strong skills in creativity, marketing strategy, analysis, organization, and sales.
  • Is committed to working collaboratively with shared leadership and in cross-functional teams.
  • Has experience in designing and implementing an annual marketing, communications, and public relations plan.
  • Stays up with current trends in the Hospitality, Foodservice, and/or Educational industries is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrates success in delivering effective presentations.
  • Displays strong analytical skills with experience in reporting and data analytics.
