As Food Production Manager 3, you will play a key role in overseeing production operations in a dynamic $10M campus dining program. The program features a newly renovated student dining hall, 7 retail outlets (including a food truck, pizzeria, cafes, and specialty concepts), concessions, and catering services. You will report directly to the Executive Chef and lead a team of 45 union frontline staff, ensuring excellence in food quality, safety, and execution.
Manage day-to-day food production in the main dining hall, supporting retail and catering operations.
Direct recipe/menu accuracy, food preparation, and offer execution across dining venues.
Implement and oversee Sodexo DRIVE and back-of-house systems including HACCP protocols.
Support ordering, receiving, and inventory processes across resident dining and catering.
Monitor and control food, labor, and production costs in alignment with financial goals.
Ensure proper post-production reporting and compliance with culinary standards.
Collaborate with the Executive Chef to develop creative, high-quality menus.
Train, coach, and lead frontline staff to maintain consistency and quality in all operations.

Executive Chef or high-level culinary/production management experience, preferably in a high-volume setting.
Strong knowledge of food production systems, inventory control, and cost management.
Experience with labor scheduling and back-of-house operations.
Excellent culinary skills with a focus on quality, presentation, and efficiency.
Strong organizational, leadership, and team development abilities.
Technologically savvy and capable of using Sodexo systems and tools effectively.

Minimum Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
Minimum Management Experience - 2 years
Minimum Functional Experience – 1 year work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
