General Manager 4 - Food

Sodexo is seeking a General Manager 4 of Food Services for Tarleton State University's new Event Center in Stephenville, TX.   The ideal candidate would have prior event center management experience and knowledge of high-volume catering, concessions and culinary operations. 

The EECU Center at Tarleton State University will have seating for nearly 10,000 people for concerts: up to 8,000 for basketball games and other sporting events.  This multi-purpose event center will provide a permanent indoor home for convocations and commencements, and the city of Stephenville will enjoy increased income from community and regional events.

• ability to direct other leaders in a high-volume business
• have strong financial acumen, and P&L background
• experience driving employee engagement and student satisfaction through strong leadership skills
• knowledge of client contracts and ability to ensure compliance
• can manage multiple priorities, demonstrate professional communication skills, and a passion for a high level of customer service
• extensive food service management experience, ideally in a campus environment, event center or convention center.

Minimum Education Requirement - Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
