Sodexo is seeking a skilled and motivated Imaging Service Engineer I to join our Healthcare Technology Management team at Emerson Hospital in Concord, MA. This role is ideal for a biomedical equipment technician with imaging experience who is looking to expand their skills in a collaborative healthcare environment. While the primary focus will be on servicing diagnostic imaging equipment, the role also includes supporting biomedical equipment maintenance. The successful candidate will bring a strong technical foundation, experience performing preventive maintenance, and a dedication to safety, compliance, and exceptional customer service.
Inspect, maintain, repair, and calibrate basic diagnostic imaging systems, devices, and instruments, including GE portables, Philips ultrasound, and radiography rooms
Perform preventive maintenance work on imaging and select biomedical equipment
Provide technical support for equipment used in direct patient care
Collaborate routinely with clinical health providers to identify and resolve technology-related issues
Troubleshoot and resolve customer service issues in a professional and timely manner
Maintain accurate service documentation, work orders, and regulatory compliance records
Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulatory requirements
Manage parts ordering and coordinate with vendors for service and repairs as needed

Associate’s degree in Biomedical Equipment Technology, Electronics, or related field (or equivalent experience)
Prior biomedical equipment experience required; imaging service experience preferred
Familiarity with GE portables, Philips ultrasound, and radiography systems highly desirable
Working knowledge of preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair processes for imaging and biomedical equipment
Strong communication and collaboration skills when working with clinical staff
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently with minimal supervision
Commitment to safety, quality, and exceptional customer service
Understanding of regulatory standards applicable to healthcare technology management

Minimum Education Reuqirement - Associates Degree (or equivalent experience) in electronics, biomedical engineering, or other technical discipline contributing to proficiency of maintenance and repair of imaging equipment within a healthcare environment
Minimum Functional Experience - 3 years of experience within a healthcare setting with direct responsibility for the maintenance and repair of clinical devices and/or 1 year of imaging equipment repair and maintenance within a healthcare environment and/or entry level of formalized training and/or equivalent military training
