Sodexo Facilities Solutions is seeking a skilled and proactive Project Manager to support our integrated facilities management team, focused on Projects and Construction at AtlantiCare Medical Center, a premier academic healthcare institution in the Atlantic City market.

 

This position is responsible for managing a portfolio of capital improvement projects, infrastructure upgrades, and compliance-related renovations within a complex healthcare environment. As part of Sodexo’s on-site facilities leadership team, the Facilities Project Manager ensures that all work is executed to the highest standards of safety, quality, and regulatory compliance—while aligning project delivery with the strategic goals of both AtlantiCare Medical Center and Sodexo.

What You'll Do

  • Lead and manage construction and renovation projects from concept through completion within a live healthcare environment

  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders, contractors, architects, and engineers to ensure timely and efficient project delivery

  • Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, scopes, and documentation

  • Ensure project compliance with all healthcare codes, safety regulations, and applicable building standards

  • Oversee procurement of materials, contractor selection, and vendor performance

  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, resolve issues, and maintain quality control

  • Prepare and present project updates, forecasts, and status reports to clients and leadership

  • Collaborate with facilities leadership to align project planning with operational goals and capital strategies

  • Track project KPIs and identify opportunities for process improvement

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field (or equivalent experience)

  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and external contractors in a dynamic, occupied facility

  • Experience developing project budgets, timelines, and risk mitigation plans

  • Working knowledge of compliance codes and building regulations (e.g., Joint Commission, NFPA, OSHA)

  • Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills

  • Proficiency with project management software, scheduling tools, and construction documentation systems

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement - Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent Minimum Management Experience - 5 years   

Minimum Functional Experience - 3 years experience in a supervisory capacity within construction
