Role Overview

Sodexo is seeking a passionate and experienced Executive Chef 3 to lead culinary operations at HCA Good Samaritan Hospital in San Jose, CA. This is a high-impact leadership role where you'll bring innovation, excellence, and a patient-centered approach to healthcare dining. As the culinary leader on-site, you’ll oversee all aspects of food production, elevate the patient and guest dining experience, and drive team performance in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.

What You'll Do

  • Lead all culinary operations, including patient dining, retail food outlets, and catering
  • Develop and execute creative, nutritious, and visually appealing menus that meet patient needs and exceed expectations
  • Ensure compliance with HACCP, food safety, and sanitation standards
  • Manage food and labor costs to meet financial targets
  • Train, mentor, and inspire a diverse culinary team
  • Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to support patient satisfaction and wellness initiatives
  • Drive innovation and continuous improvement in food quality and service delivery

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement - Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience

Minimum Management Experience - 3 years   

Minimum Functional Experience - 3 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
