Role Overview

Sodexo is seeking a Retail Food Manager for The Hill School located in Pottstown, PA. The Hill School is a coeducational, independent, college preparatory, boarding and day school for grades 9-12, located in Pottstown, Pennsylvania, about 35 mi northwest of Philadelphia. Our ideal candidate will be innovative, keeping services fresh and updated based on current trends and customer needs. This role is heavily focused on service, training, and unit financials. At Sodexo, we deliver food, nutrition, environmental and facilities management solutions to partnered K-12 schools. Joining us at one of our school sites means fostering healthy learning environments and positively influencing the students’ well-being and performance. 

What You'll Do

  • coordinate all required tasks as assigned, and manage scheduling through frontline staff
  • deliver high quality food services in a K-12 environment, to include catering
  • achieve company and client financial targets and goals
  • ensure compliance with HACCP, regulatory and Sodexo standards
  • daily interaction and collaboration with fellow managers
  • deliver high quality food service
  • develop and maintain client and customer relationships
