Role Overview

Sodexo is seeking a Licensing Analyst for our Licensing department.  

 

This role will work a hybrid schedule averaging three days in the office and two days from home plus 10 work from anywhere days- this is on top of vacation, holidays and personal days.

What You'll Do

  • Oversee the daily operations of the Licensing team
  • Provide staff training (accounting systems and other system applications, policies and procedures)
  • Open and distribute the Licensing team's daily mail
  • Monitor and assign requests received through the Licensing group mail and SoFinance
  • Prepare and file license/permit applications with jurisdictions
  • Process application and renewal payment through the AP Payment Request Portal or on-line credit card payments
  • Amortize license payments over $1,000 per year
  • Maintain the Licensing Access database
  • Maintain legal entity and officer information
  • Review the contents of prepared license/permit registrations and W9 documents for completeness and accuracy
  • Partner with Tax and other corporate departments to ensure accurate and timely processing, and to resolve issues that impact application filings
  • Work with Legal to file renewals of specialized licenses
  • Assist unit managers, local jurisdictions, and auditors to resolve issues or answer inquiries
  • Assist with projects, as necessary
  • Support company initiatives

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or similar
  • Must be a self-starter with a high degree of initiative
  • Strong communication skills and interpersonal skills
