Sodexo is seeking an experienced Traveling Biomedical Equipment Specialist, specializing in anesthesia systems, to support healthcare facilities from Philadelphia to Maine and the surrounding regions. This role functions as a Subject Matter Expert in anesthesia equipment while also bringing advanced expertise in one or more high-end healthcare technology modalities.

 

The specialist will serve as a technical leader within the region, operating independently with minimal supervision, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining advanced clinical equipment inventories. This position requires strong planning, communication, and organizational skills.

What You'll Do

  • Serve as the regional SME and modality expert for anesthesia systems and related high-end biomedical equipment.

  • Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain advanced clinical equipment across multiple facilities, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with regulatory standards.

  • Provide technical expertise in specialized equipment areas, including device integration/networking, catheterization lab/electrophysiology monitoring systems, and capital planning.

  • Partner with facility leadership to plan, prioritize, and execute maintenance strategies that support clinical and operational goals.

  • Maintain accurate service records, documentation, and reports.

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement - Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent experience) in electronic, biomedical engineering or a discipline geared toward managing maintaining and repairing clinical equipment within a healthcare environment

Minimum Functional Experience - 7 years of experience in electronic, mechanical or electro-mechanical repair in a health care technology setting
