Sodexo is seeking an experienced Traveling Biomedical Equipment Specialist, specializing in sterilizers to support healthcare facilities from Philadelphia to Maine and the surrounding regions. This role functions as a Subject Matter Expert in sterilizer systems, while also bringing advanced expertise in one or more high-end healthcare technology modalities.
The specialist will serve as a technical leader within the region, operating independently with minimal supervision, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining advanced clinical equipment inventories. This position requires strong planning, communication, and organizational skills.
Serve as the regional SME and modality expert for sterilizer systems, ensuring peak performance and adherence to manufacturer and regulatory standards.
Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain sterilizers and other advanced clinical equipment across multiple facilities.
Provide technical expertise in related equipment areas, including high-end biomedical devices, capital planning, and device networking/integration.
Collaborate with facility leadership to develop maintenance strategies that support clinical and operational goals.
Maintain accurate service documentation, records, and reports.

Bachelor’s degree in Electronic or Biomedical Engineering, or equivalent experience in managing, maintaining, and repairing clinical equipment within a healthcare environment.
Advanced technical proficiency in sterilizer systems to manufacturer standards.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and travel extensively throughout the assigned region.
Excellent planning, organization, and communication abilities.

Minimum Education Requirement - Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent experience) in electronic, biomedical engineering or a discipline geared toward managing maintaining and repairing clinical equipment within a healthcare environment
Minimum Functional Experience - 7 years of experience in electronic, mechanical or electro-mechanical repair in a health care technology setting
