We are seeking an Environmental Services / Custodial Operations Manager 2 for UNC Health Southeastern Hospital, part of UNC Health System, located in Lumberton, NC. This unit has has over 300 licensed beds and will oversee a staff of 3 Managers, 3 Supervisors and approximately 80 FTEs. The lead candidate will work Day Shift and be responsible for the implementation of Environmental Services Sodexo programs & procedures. Employee engagement, patient satisfaction scores and bed turnaround time are some of the metrics this manager will be responsible for in their role.  

What You'll Do

  • Driving Patient Satisfaction Scores and attaining KPI results monthly, quarterly and yearly
  • Provide a clean and safe environment for patients, visitors and staff for all areas of the operation.
  • Works closely with the Infectious Control department. OR and other departments of the facility
  • A strong focus on department initiatives
  • Responsible for driving client satisfaction
  • Is seen as a leader and can drive projects and initiatives through sound strategic methodology
  • Effectively manage the Unit Operating System;
  • Support a diverse and inclusive workforce.

  • are proficient with computers and other technology.

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
Minimum Management Experience - 2 years
Minimum Functional Experience - 2 years of work experience in Housekeeping, Environmental or Custodial Services
