Sodexo has a fantastic opportunity for a highly passionate and experienced Operations Manager with a strong commitment to patient experience to join our team at Penn Presbyterian in Philadelphia, PA. This role will support the on-site Director. Hours will be 11:00am – 7:30pm, Sunday -Thursday (schedule may vary per needs of business).  The successful candidate will be responsible for system management, patient experience software, standards of practice, training, and orientation. Overall responsible for strategic analysis of trends and metrics involved in patient feedback to create action and communication surrounding solutions. 

 

What You'll Do

  • Implement performance improvement and quality assurance programs targeted to improve customer satisfaction.
  • Interact with patients and the nursing staff.
  • Customer Service Training for our front-line staff
  • Conducting patient ready room inspections and patient surveys
  • Participates and adds value to hospital committees as necessary (i.e. Patient Satisfaction Committee, Nursing, Administration, HCAHPS Committee, etc.)

What You Bring

  • Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to maintain the highest of standards and implement company policies
  • Previous experience working in a high-volume facility
  • Strong management skills, preferably in health care 
  • 2-4 years of management experience preferred.

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement - Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
Minimum Management Experience - 3 years
Minimum Functional Experience - 3 years of work experience in Housekeeping, Environmental or Custodial Services
