Sodexo’s growing Healthcare Technology Management Division is seeking solution-oriented candidates who excel at customer service with a proven success as an experienced Biomedical Equipment Specialist/ Lead to support Healthcare Technology service for Sharp HealthCare located in San Diego, CA.

What You'll Do

  • Serve as the SME and modality expert related high-end biomedical equipment.
  • Proactive thinking skills to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain advanced clinical equipment across multiple facilities, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Provide technical expertise in specialized equipment areas, including device integration/networking, and capital planning.
  • Partner with facility leadership to plan, prioritize, and execute maintenance strategies that support clinical and operational goals.
  • Maintain accurate service records, documentation, and reports.

What You Bring

  • Highest level of technical proficiency in multi-modalities of medical equipment, with in-depth knowledge to manufacturer standards.
  • Preferably 7-10 years of experience in electronic, mechanical or electro-mechanical repair in a health care technology- HTM/ Biomed setting.
  • Ability to work independently and make sound decisions.
  • Strong planning, organizational, and project management skills.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
  • Experience in a healthcare facility or healthcare setting.
  • Leadership experience with mentoring.
  • Strong communication, time management, and customer service skills: ability to provide world class service to healthcare customers.

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement - Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent experience) in electronic, biomedical engineering or a discipline geared toward managing maintaining and repairing clinical equipment within a healthcare environment

Minimum Functional Experience - 7 years of experience in electronic, mechanical or electro-mechanical repair in a health care technology setting
