Sodexo is seeking a Biomedical Equipment Technician III- Imaging for Metro/University of Michigan Health West located in Wyoming, MI.

****A valid driver’s license and acceptable driver’s license record check is required.****

• Apply formal training and hands-on experience to service a variety of clinical equipment in a healthcare setting.
• Repair, maintain, and calibrate complex medical devices, including respiratory equipment, ventilators, anesthesia machines, and imaging equipment experience.
• Work within hospitals or clinical environments to ensure equipment reliability and compliance with safety standards.
• Provide leadership by mentoring junior team members and supporting their technical development.
• Use proactive troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve equipment issues efficiently.
• Communicate effectively with clinical staff, manage time across multiple priorities, and deliver exceptional customer service.
• Serve as a trusted technical resource, ensuring high-quality service and support for healthcare professionals.
• Uphold patient safety and operational excellence by maintaining accurate service records and adhering to all regulatory requirements.

• 1+ years of imaging experience (preferably radio frequency, X-ray portables, C-Arms, fluoroscopy, ultrasound, etc.)
• Experience in a hospital or healthcare setting preferred
• Ability to make decisions regarding troubleshooting and repairing medical imaging devices
• Ability to complete preventative & corrective maintenance on medical devices
• Specific experience with the following medical devices or equipment: General Biomed plus Ventilators, Anesthesia machines Phillips or GE Ultrasound, X-Ray portables, C-Arms and general X-Ray experience is preferred.   Carestream DRX experience preferred.  OEC training, or Certifications are preferred, but not required and will train. 
• Excellent communication, customer service and time management skills
• Ability to participate in on-call rotation schedule as required
• This position will support/drive to multiple locations, must have valid driver's license.

Minimum Education Requirement - Associate's Degree (or equivalent experience) in electronic, biomedical engineering or a discipline geared toward managing maintaining and repairing clinical equipment within a healthcare environment

Minimum Functional Experience - 7 years of experience in electronic, mechanical or electro-mechanical repair in a health care technology setting
