Food Operations Manager 2

Are you ready to join an established, long term, high volume account where you serve those willing to lay down their life in service of you? We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to run operations at our busiest Air Force dining facility.  This position work hand in hand with the General Manager to ensure smooth, efficient, and to standard operations at two dining facilities on Goodfellow AFB in San Angelo, TX.  You wil join a team of 4 salaried sodexo managers, 6 supervisors and 80 Sodexo frontline employees, as well as a subcontractor with 6 supervisors and 75 frontline employees.  Standards, Training and management of frontline supervisors is a key component to this role.

• support other members of the management team;
• have daily client interaction; 
• manage the Food Management System (FMS).
• conduct inventory Management;
• provide technical training and expertise, coaching and leadership to the production team while working side by side in the operation as needed;
• be responsible for growing relationships with key client contacts; and/or
• ensure compliance to food safety, sanitation, and overall workplace safety standards at all levels and participates in the audit process

Minimum Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
Minimum Management Experience - 2 years
Minimum Functional Experience - 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
