Role Overview

Sodexo is seeking a full-time Clinical Dietitian to support the Inpatient Medical Nutrition Department at Mount Sinai- Chicago Hospital, located in Chicago, IL.  This 319-bed hospital is located 6 miles southwest of downtown Chicago. Mount Sinai-Chicago Hospital is a level I trauma center, and is a compassionate, dedicated hospital providing a full range of medical care to residents of Cook County and the surrounding areas. New graduates and experienced dietitians are encouraged to apply!

 

Reimbursement for AND dues, state licensure fees, and CDR renewal

What You'll Do

  • Provide nutritional care to patients in both acute care and rehab settings
  • Work one every four to five weekends, covering acute care at Mount Sinai Chicago Hospital
  • Educate healthcare team members, including physicians and nurses
  • Effectively collaborate with other members of the patient care team, including doctors, nurses, psychologists, pharmacists, social workers, speech therapists, and fellow dietitians

  • Registered Dietitian credentials (required) and be licensed in Illinois (or current pending license)

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement:

Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) 

For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24:

Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) 

 

Credentials Requirement:

Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire.  In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hire
Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice. In some states and/or facilities state certification/licensure is required at the time of hire
