Role Overview

Sodexo is seeking a Controller to join their team at The Pass located in Long Island City, New York. The Controller will serve as the primary point of contact for all finance projections, questions, and concerns for two offsite production facilities on the East Coast.   This is an on-site position, candidate must reside in close proximity to Long Island City, NY.

What You'll Do

  • Collect, review and analyze data. 
  • Oversight and direction of annual budgeting process & oversight and direction of period close process for sites.
  • Financial Training and development of Sodexo General Managers.
  • Create and present financial reports to clients as needed

What You Bring

  • Experience/education in finance and/or accounting
  • Ability to work independently and demonstrate organization skills
  • Have the ability to perform and maintain core responsibilities/accountabilities while simultaneously   involved in other department initiatives
  • Demonstrate analytical ability
  • Strong interpretation skills, as well as strong verbal and written communication

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement - Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience

Minimum Functional Experience - 3 years of experience in finance, accounting or related field
