Role Overview

Sodexo Corporate Services has an exciting opportunity for an Executive Chef to support our client in Bloomington, Minnesota. As the Executive Chef you’ll be at the forefront of culinary excellence. This is a hands-on, role that will focus on supporting our culinary program with our client. We seek a strong culinary leader with a proven commitment to innovation, teamwork, and collaboration to help us achieve our vision. This is a Monday-Friday corporate operation.

What You'll Do

Key responsibilities include:

  • Implements & coordinates the culinary function.
  •  Ensure food preparation & production meets operational standards
  •  Manages catering & retail areas
  • Customer & client satisfaction
  • Financial management to include food cost & labor management
  •  Manages food & physical safety programs

  • Associate’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 2 years management experience
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Strong catering experience
  • Ability to delegate and lead a team
  • Demonstrated experience, 2 years or more in food or culinary services including vending, catering services or institutional services

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
Minimum Management Experience - 2 years
Minimum Functional Experience - 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
