Role Overview

Sodexo is hiring our Environmental Services Custodial Manager, 2nd Shift for the Halifax School District in South Boston, VA.  Our successful candidate will lead operations at our brand-new high school facility. Much more than a management role—this is a career opportunity to shape the culture and standards of our pristine campus from day one. This is a potential sale, and contingent offers will be made.  

What You'll Do

  • Lead and mentor our team during the second shift
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
  • Manage custodial schedules, supply inventory, and equipment maintenance

  • Oversee and manage the custodial budget and account, ensuring cost-effective operations

  • Lead and support a custodial team in maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and safety
  • Be present and hands-on in daily operations, fostering a collaborative and respectful work environment
