Sodexo’s Campus Segment at SUNY Delhi is seeking a Food Operations Manager 2 to play a key leadership role in a robust and diverse dining program.

 

The SUNY Delhi dining experience features:

  • Two unlimited dining halls offering a wide variety of fresh, made-to-order meals

  • A vibrant retail marketplace with flexible dining options

  • National brands including Starbucks and Argo Tea

  • Seasons Café, focusing on fresh, seasonal, and sustainable menus

  • A full-service bakery known for scratch-made breads, pastries, and desserts

  • A large-scale catering operation supporting campus events, conferences, and VIP functions

This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic, student-focused environment where quality, innovation, and community come together to create an exceptional campus dining experience.

What You'll Do

  • Lead and inspire a diverse team of culinary and dining professionals

  • Oversee daily operations across all dining venues, ensuring quality, safety, and customer satisfaction

  • Plan and implement innovative menus and retail offerings that reflect current trends and student preferences

  • Manage budgets, labor, and inventory to optimize efficiency and control costs

  • Coordinate catering for campus events, special programs, and VIP functions

  • Foster a culture of teamwork, growth, and community engagement

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
Minimum Management Experience - 2 years
Minimum Functional Experience - 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
