This pivotal role requires a deep understanding of complex federal and state regulations, including The Joint Commission (TJC) and Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) standards. What You'll Do

  • Lead survey readiness initiatives across multiple Sharp HealthCare facilities, ensuring compliance with TJC, CMS, and state regulations.
  • Collaborate with food service teams to implement standardized processes that support continuous accreditation readiness.
  • Conduct audits and provide actionable insights to improve regulatory performance and operational excellence.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor on regulatory standards, supporting training and readiness across the healthcare system.

What You Bring

  • Extensive experience in healthcare food service operations with a strong focus on regulatory compliance.
  • Deep knowledge of The Joint Commission (TJC) and CMS standards; California Title 22 experience preferred.
  • Credentialed as a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) with senior-level leadership experience.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills with the ability to influence system-wide change.

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement - Bachelor's degree in dietetics, food management, or related field

Minimum Management Experience - 3 years

Minimum Functional Experience - 3 years of work experience in health care clinical management of outpatient services, hospitals, nursing homes, assisted or independent living facilities, long-term care, retirement homes, or clinics + registered dietitian.
