Role Overview

Sodexo is seeking a Director of Brand Commercialization to lead the development, activation, and governance of integrated sales and marketing strategies that drive growth across North America. This leader will create a seamless connection from brand concept to customer activation by delivering high-impact offers anchored in costing, pricing, case studies, and pilot site activations. They will equip sellers with compelling value propositions, sales plays, collateral, and proof points, while aligning brand positioning to customer archetypes, buyer needs, and measurable ROI.

 

Success will be defined by faster offer activation, delivery of prioritized milestones, adoption of standardized tools across sales and marketing, and measurable impact on pipeline conversion, growth opportunities, and win rates.

What You'll Do

Offer Strategy & Activation

  • Define high-level brand value propositions, pillars, and tiers for scalable deployment.
  • Ensure offers align to customer archetypes and buyer personas through data-driven proof points and case studies.
  • Translate brand strategy into operations, costing, pricing details, and pilot site activations.
  • Build customer-specific value prop messages and sales narratives supported by sales slicks, proposal content, and presentations.

 

Field Enablement & Adoption

  • Deliver collateral for every step of the sales funnel (awareness through proposal), including presentations, templates, and differentiators.
  • Build tools, calculators, playbooks, and FAQs to support activation across sales, solutioning, operations, and commercial finance.
  • Conduct training and rollout sessions to ensure adoption across field teams.
  • Partner with sales enablement to launch brand-driven campaigns and workshops that drive customer engagement and demand generation.

 

Cross-Functional Leadership & Governance

  • Lead the execution of an integrated sales and marketing roadmap, ensuring brand concepts translate into customer activation.
  • Partner with marketing, sales, operations, finance, product, and legal to deliver market-ready, financially sound solutions.
  • Facilitate weekly activation meetings, monthly leadership forums, and quarterly executive reviews to track milestones, resolve barriers, and align priorities.
  • Represent brand activation strategy in executive-level decision-making forums.

 

Performance & Optimization

  • Establish and monitor activation KPIs tied to pipeline growth, funnel conversion, and ROI.
  • Use data, seller feedback, and pilot site activations to continuously refine value propositions, sales plays, and positioning.
  • Provide ongoing reporting to leadership on progress, insights, and business impact ensuring visibility and accountability.

  • Demonstrated ability to build case studies, pilot activations, sales plays, and sales-ready collateral.
  • Strong background in offers, costing/pricing, and buyer persona alignment.
  • Skilled in cross-functional leadership, governance, and executive stakeholder influence.
  • Data-driven, outcome-focused, and comfortable measuring success in terms of pipeline growth, funnel conversion, and ROI.
