Role Overview

Chef Manager – Corporate Dining | Sodexo @ Acushnet (Lakeville, MA)

Sodexo Corporate Services is seeking a dynamic and hands-on Chef Manager to lead our culinary operations at one of our Acushnet locations in Lakeville, MA, In addition, the Chef Manager will support the Grab and Go program for another location 10 minutes away.   This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate food service professional who thrives in a fast-paced, independent environment.

What You’ll Oversee:

  • A corporate café serving breakfast and lunch and open from 8am to 3pm
  • Catering services for meetings and events
  • A 24/7 micro-market (unmanned)

As the sole salaried manager on-site, you’ll be responsible for the full scope of daily operations, leading a dedicated team of 3 hourly staff (2 cooks and 1 utility worker).

Incentives

M-F 6:30am to 3:30pm schedule with very rare evenings and no weekends

What You'll Do

  • Lead and inspire your team with strong kitchen leadership
  • Execute and adapt corporate menus with creativity and precision
  • Manage inventory, ordering, and food cost controls
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
  • Balance hands-on culinary work (60%) with administrative duties (40%)
  • Plan menus and coordinate catering events
  • Maintain a high standard of quality and customer satisfaction
