Role Overview

Sodexo is seeking a dynamic Food Operations Manager to join our food service team at Leisure World in Silver Spring, Maryland.  This manager will bring a passion for hospitality and a proven track record in restaurant / retail food service leadership. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a competitive marketplace, consistently drives brand awareness, and cultivates a loyal and growing customer base through exceptional restaurant and catering service delivery.

What You'll Do


•  Lead and elevate front-of-house restaurant dining operations and catering events, ensuring seamless service and unforgettable guest experiences
•  Champion hospitality excellence, team development, and operational efficiency
•  Drive creative marketing campaigns, leveraging social media and digital platforms to build brand presence and customer engagement
•  Foster local partnerships, host engaging restaurant events, and deepen community involvement to expand reach and retain loyal fans

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
Minimum Management Experience - 2 years
Minimum Functional Experience - 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
