Sodexo is seeking a Campus Executive Chef to lead the culinary team at the University of Tennessee – Martin (UTM), a vibrant public university located in Martin, TN (about 60 miles north of Jackson and 136 miles from Memphis). This account includes Resident Dining, Catering, and Retail operations. As Executive Chef, you’ll be the driving force behind all culinary operations, including resident dining and catering. 

What You'll Do

  • Designing and executing creative, student-focused menus

  • Overseeing food ordering, inventory, purchasing, and scheduling

  • Managing food and labor costs to achieve financial goals

  • Leading and mentoring a team of 30–40 employees, including 1 Sous Chef

  • Coordinating and executing catering events both on and off campus

  • Ensuring the highest standards of safety, sanitation, and HACCP compliance

  • Training and developing staff while fostering a positive kitchen culture

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
Minimum Management Experience - 2 years
Minimum Functional Experience - 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
