Role Overview

Sodexo is currently seeking a Food & Supply Transformation Project Manager to join the transformation core team. The successful candidate will drive fact-based decision-making across Sodexo functions by gathering and synthesizing information, mapping processes, drafting qualitative and quantitative analyses, supporting PMO activities, and preparing committee-ready materials for decisions at all levels of the organization. 

You’ll build internal networks, spot trends and patterns, and formulate clear, actionable recommendations that align with our existing operations and strategic priorities (brand-led model, digitization, supply efficiency, etc.). This position requires proximity to our operations, a willingness to travel to sites, and an eagerness to support others. 

This role is a unique opportunity to grow within Sodexo. It will give you exposure to top leadership, access to strategic topics, and accelerated learning.

This is a remote position with some travel (25%). Preference for candidates residing in the Washington, DC metropolitan area.

 

What You'll Do

Key Responsibilities 

  • Analyze processes and root causes at an enterprise level (i.e., cross-segments, cross-sites), leveraging data and facts 
  • Lead stakeholder interviews and workshops; document the current state of supply chain processes, best practices, and lessons learned 
  • Conduct root cause analysis; identify barriers, opportunities, and data inconsistencies 
  • Synthesize qualitative inputs and coordinate with Finance and data teams to request advanced analytics and reporting 
  • Develop executive-ready decks and decision papers 
  • Facilitate upfront consensus-building sessions, ensuring alignment on recommendations and success metrics 
  • Work to become a subject matter expert (SME) in supply chain processes and operator experience

What You Bring

Key Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience 
  • Previous consulting, project coordination, or operations experience 
  • Exceptional attention to detail; ability to spot trends or patterns to outline challenges and make recommendations 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, tailored for diverse audiences 
  • Strong stakeholder management and facilitation skills 
  • Extensive knowledge of operations and/or familiarity with the food and supply industry (a plus but not required) 
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word); Visio or Lucidchart experience is a plus
