Role Overview

Sodexo has an exciting opening for a Union Dues Coordinator to join our Corporate Benefits team in Cheektowaga, NY.  This position will coordinate the collection and distribution of union dues deductions for eligible employees. This is a hybrid position and requires 3 days in the office.

What You'll Do

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assign Union SCA and CBA codes to cost centers in ADP
  • Review union dues requirements and coordinate with ADP to ensure accurate deductions/calculations of dues
  • Initiate and terminate employee dues deductions
  • Initiate monthly disbursement process through LUMS
  • Evaluate dues data, research, and resolve any issues 
  • Send payment and required documentation to each union
  • Produce comprehensive reports that ensure adherence to union regulations and the terms outlined in Collective Bargaining Agreements
  • Provide guidance and assistance to Unions, Labor Relations, General Managers, and Union employees

What You Bring

The successful candidate will have the following background/skillset:

  • Associate’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Strong interpersonal skills and proven problem resolution skills
  • Attention to detail and time management
  • Accounting/bookkeeping experience strongly desired
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the use of formulas, pivot tables; experienced with additional applications such as Word, Outlook, and ADP to support documentation, communication, and collaboration needs
  • Ability to work independently and meet critical processing deadlines
  • Excellent customer service skills
