Sodexo is seeking an experienced Food Operations Manager 3- Patient Services to support Virginia Hospital Center in Arlington, VA. Virginia Hospital Center is a 453 bed teaching facility located in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. It is a not-for-profit hospital recognized for its quality of care and its designation as a Magnet® hospital  

 

What You'll Do

This role will support a team of 75 employees and will be a trusted advisor that’s central to the client partnership. The lead candidate should have experience in patient services and retail operations. The role will have direct accountability for operational excellence  achieved by delivering on our service commitments that are: Predictable, Reliable, and Repeatable.

  • have oversight of day-to-day patient services operations;
  • successfully coordinate all required tasks through subordinate supervisors and frontline staff;
  • deliver high quality food services in patient meal management operations
  • achieve company and client financial targets and goals; 
  • develop and maintain client and customer relationships

  • ensure HACCP, regulatory and standards compliance;
  • have daily interaction with patients, their families and clinical team to ensure patient satisfaction;

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement - Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience

Minimum Management Experience - 3 years   

Minimum Functional Experience - 3 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
