Sodexo is seeking a Dietetic Technician, Registered for a full time position at Mohawk Valley Health System Rehabilitation and Nursing Center (St. Luke’s Home), a 202-bed skilled nursing and subacute rehabilitation facility located in Utica, NY. 

What You'll Do

  • provide exceptional nutrition care to patients on skilled nursing units in collaboration with the Registered Dietitian;  
  • be knowledgeable of the Nutrition Care Process;
  • participate in operational tasks, including meal rounds and test trays as well as long range projects to support the department; and
  • efficiently and effectively organize clinical and operational responsibilities.

  • strong verbal and written communication skills;

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement: Associate’s degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice in a Dietetic Technician Program as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) or Bachelor’s degree with completion of required coursework in a Didactic Program in Dietetics (DPD) as dictated by ACEND

 
Minimum Management Experience: Basic experience of coordinating the work of others (4 to 6 months)

 

Minimum Functional Experience: Limited work-based experience (0 to 3 months); ability to work with minimal supervision

 

Credentials Requirement:

  • Nutrition & Dietetics Technician, Registered (DTR/NDTR) by the  Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)
  • Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice
