Sodexo’s Corporate Services division is seeking a talented and driven Catering Manager to join our team in Georgetown, Kentucky—where attention to detail, elevated service, and creativity come together to deliver exceptional dining experiences for our esteemed clientele.

 

As Catering Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of catering operations within a sophisticated corporate setting. You’ll bring your strategic mindset, operational expertise, and refined sense of hospitality to manage and elevate catering functions—ranging from high-volume casual luncheons to elegant executive dinners. This role requires a dynamic professional who is adept at planning, organizing, and executing diverse catered events with precision and flair. Working in close collaboration with our talented Executive Chef, you will ensure seamless delivery, client satisfaction, and continuous improvement in both culinary offerings and service delivery

What You'll Do

  • Lead the Execution of Upscale Events: Manage all day-to-day catering activities, ensuring exceptional quality and presentation in every event, from boardroom luncheons to high-end receptions.

  • Client-Focused Service Excellence: Serve as the primary liaison for clients, anticipating needs and exceeding expectations with customized, client-centric catering solutions.

  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with the Executive Chef, kitchen staff, and service teams to ensure culinary and service excellence align with client objectives.

  • Drive Catering Sales Growth: Develop and implement strategies to grow catering sales, track key performance metrics, and identify areas for improvement.

  • Operational Leadership: Oversee the staffing, training, and performance of catering employees; ensure compliance with Sodexo policies and food safety standards.

  • Event Planning & Execution: Manage logistics from start to finish, including menu development, event setup, décor coordination, and post-event evaluation.

  • Problem-Solving & Adaptability: Demonstrate quick decision-making and agility to resolve challenges and adapt to changing priorities on the fly.

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
Minimum Management Experience - 2 years
Minimum Functional Experience – 1 year work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
