Sodexo is seeking a highly motivated Food Operations Manager 3 to join our Food & Nutrition team at NYC Health + Hospital/Kings County in Brooklyn, New York. Kings is a 630-bed acute care trauma facility in NYC with a diverse patient population. Known for its excellence in patient care and innovation, Kings utilizes a Cook-Chill production system, serving more than 1,500 meals each day.
The Food Operations Manager 3 will oversee a team of approximately 90 union employees and 5 managers. The role requires a strong background in food & nutrition services and patient experience, with a focus on managing daily operations to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care. This leader will ensure food service excellence, compliance with health and safety regulations, and operational efficiency in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Lead, coach, and develop a large team of union employees and frontline managers.

Minimum Education Requirement - Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
Minimum Management Experience - 3 years
Minimum Functional Experience - 3 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
