Food Operations Manager 2

Sodexo is seeking a Food Operations Manager 2 to support Medstar Health accounts in the Washington DC Metro. MedStar Health is a not-for-profit healthcare organization. It operates more than 120 entities, including ten hospitals in the Baltimore–Washington metropolitan area of the United States. In 2011 it was ranked as the private sector employer with the largest number of local employees in the region. 

The Food Operations Manager 2 will be responsible for assisting with all aspects of the operations meal program to ensure compliance and improve the patient experience. We are looking for a charismatic and organized individual to support our frontline associates.

• have oversight of day-to-day patient services operations;
• successfully coordinate all required tasks through subordinate supervisors and frontline staff;
• deliver high quality food services in patient meal management operations
• achieve company and client financial targets and goals; 
• develop and maintain client and customer relationships 
• develop strategic plans
• ensure HACCP, regulatory and standards compliance;
• have daily interaction with patients, their families and clinical team to ensure patient satisfaction;
• create a positive environment;

Minimum Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
Minimum Management Experience - 2 years
Minimum Functional Experience - 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
