Role Overview

Sodexo's Healthcare segment is seeking a Vice President, Operations for our Healthcare segment in Kansas and Nebraska.  This role has full accountability for our client organization relationships, which include multiple contracts, services, and locations.

 

The Vice President, Operations, is a trusted advisor central to the client partnership and key to delivering results that meet client needs. Accountability includes contract management, relationship management, operational performance, and leading people. This role has direct accountability for operational excellence across multiple services: food and nutrition, environmental services, and facilities management.

 

This is an excellent opportunity for a polished leader who is committed to service excellence and strategic growth!

 

The ideal candidate will reside in Kansas or Nebraska.

What You'll Do

  • Navigate the client organization through effective communication, influencing, and persuading at all levels
  • Coach and empower managers to build strong, engaged, and accountable teams
  • Analyze data such as workforce planning and employee engagement to engage in data-driven decision-making around talent
  • Deploy, embed, and ensure standardized processes that are predictable, reliable, and repeatable across the business
  • Deliver predictable results, relentless focus on driving efficiency, and making difficult decisions
  • Drive change and create a culture where change is embraced and operationalized
  • Bring innovation to the client organization through the deployment of Sodexo programs and brand.
  • Optimize relationships to enhance customer service and fiscal stability of the business through the use of the Clients for Life tools and resources
  • Identify and act on strategic growth and retention opportunities across the region
  • Effectively partner with internal stakeholders (regions, functions, Health Care Market, NORAM, and Group) to drive successful, cross‐functional outcomes

  • Knowledge of the latest trends and innovations in the contracted service industry to drive client value
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain trusted client relationships
  • Talent for mentoring and developing high-performing leaders and frontline teams
  • Strong, transparent communication skills with the ability to interact from frontline to C-suite
  • Business development skills to identify and successfully target growth opportunities among existing clients
  • Proven experience overseeing multi-site healthcare facilities with the ability to drive financial results

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement - Bachelor's degree or related equivalent experience
Minimum Management Experience -10 years managerial experience
Minimum Functional Experience - 10 years relevant functional experience
