Food Service Manager 2

Sodexo is hiring a Food Service Manager 2 for Lawton Public Schools in Lawton, OK.

The Food Service Manager will work with their team to implement and maintain Sodexo programs/systems/procedures. This is a key leadership role in establishing and maintaining an exceptionally high level of food service operational standards. Working for Sodexo will provide you with the opportunity to contribute your skills to a company that strives to enhance the learning environment for students. 

Valid Driver’s License Required.

• have oversight of day-to-day operations;
• ensure Sodexo and National School Lunch (NSLP)/USDA standards are met;
• deliver high quality food service;
• provide employee training and development; 
• develop and maintain client and customer relationships;
• assist in the development and implementation of strategic/marketing plans; and
• create a positive working environment.

• have a work history demonstrating strong employee engagement leadership skills, as well as previous supervisory experience and the ability to work collaboratively; 
• has previous experience working within a K-12 environment;
• have culinary production experience and a strong background in safety and sanitation compliance; 
• can manage multiple priorities, demonstrate professional communication skills, and a passion for a high level of customer service; 
• prioritize tasks and exhibit flexibility to take on additional responsibilities as needed; and/or
