Sodexo’s Campus Segment is seeking an experienced and customer-focused Retail Manager 2 to join our team at SUNY Plattsburgh in beautiful Plattsburgh, NY.
This is an exciting opportunity to lead a vibrant, student-centered retail dining program featuring a variety of branded and in-house concepts. The Retail Manager will oversee daily retail food operations, ensuring exceptional food quality, outstanding customer service, and operational excellence.
The successful candidate will bring a passion for hospitality, a strong operational background, and the ability to inspire teams in a fast-paced campus environment.
Direct daily operations of multiple retail food venues, ensuring top-tier food quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.
Lead and develop hourly and supervisory food service staff while fostering a positive, inclusive, and safety-focused workplace culture.
Ensure compliance with Sodexo’s cash-handling, sanitation, and food safety procedures.
Maintain strong client and customer relationships, ensuring service excellence and satisfaction.
Drive operational performance, financial results, and team engagement.
Implement and maintain brand standards across all concepts.
Monitor labor, food, and supply costs to achieve operational goals.

Knowledge of POS systems, cash handling, and inventory management.
