Role Overview

Sodexo is seeking a polished and experienced Environmental Services Custodial Services Manager, Day Shift to join our team at Millard Public Schools in Omaha, NE. Our leader will support 38 buildings serving 23,000 students and work collaboratively with three other custodial managers to oversee a dedicated team of union custodians across all schools and support facilities. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership and communication skills, a commitment to team development, and experience managing custodial operations—preferably in a union environment. A valid driver’s license and a clear background check are required, and familiarity with snow management and COVID-19 response protocols is a plus.

What You'll Do

  • Have the ability to multi-task and communicate well with principals, administrators and our strong team of frontline hourly professionals 
  • Walk through campuses and inspect cleanliness and help hands on as needed
  • Manage rotating coverage for On Call Emergencies every 6 weeks
  • Provide a clean and safe environment for students, visitors, and staff
  • Lead teams and departmental projects and initiatives
  • Effectively manage the Unit Operating System
  • Valid Driver's license with Clear Background required
