General Manager 3 - Environmental Services / Custodial

Sodexo is seeking a General Manager 3 - Environmental Services / Custodial to support our operations at Miami Jewish Health in Miami.  The GM-EVS will oversee the daily custodial and housekeeping operations by effectively managing the hourly employees, 2 Operations Managers and a clerk. Ability to partner with community leaders to deliver innovative solutions, as well as creating a clean, healthy and comfortable environment for the Residents, is essential in this management role. Bilingual candidates (Creole or Spanish) an added plus!  

• have exceptional client service mentality and executive presence;
• be responsible for driving client and resident satisfaction scores;
• provide a clean and safe environment for residents, visitors and staff and works closely with the Infectious Control department;
• effectively manages the Unit Operating System; and
• support a diverse and inclusive workforce.

• 3-5 years previous custodial or housekeeping director level experience preferably in a seniors, hospital or hotel environment;
• experience in infection control protocols;
• ability to develop and motivate a team to exceed the expectations of clients and customers in service and the technical execution of a housekeeping system;
• strong leadership skills and can work independently to drive program compliance and reach project target dates of completion;
• experience effectively managing projects within agreed upon time-lines;
• proficient with computers and other technology; and
• strong financial acumen and budget management experience.

Minimum Education Requirement - Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
Minimum Management Experience – 5 years
Minimum Functional Experience – 5 years
