Role Overview

Sodexo Live! has an opportunity for a Chef/Kitchen Manager to support a large commissary kitchen operation that delivers thousands of ready-to-eat meals to our local clients.  Working in the metro Atlanta area with our commissary team, this Chef/Kitchen Manager will oversee the production of all food and grab'n'go items packed for delivery and distribution.

Working at one of these locations is exciting and allows you to be part of creating memorable experiences for people.

What You'll Do

  • be responsible for menu compliance, cooking, food production, food quality/presentation, safety/sanitation;
  • ensure Sodexo Culinary standards, including recipe compliance and food quality are implemented;
  • have the ability and willingness to develop and motivate team members to embrace culinary innovations;
  • ensure food safety, sanitation and workplace safety standards (HACCP); and/or
  • have working knowledge of automated food inventory, ordering, production and management systems;
  • direct the activities of 10-15 associates.
  • work a schedule of 10AM - 6PM or 9AM - 5PM, including at least one weekend day.

What You Bring

  • a supervisory culinary background, with the demonstrated ability to stay current with new culinary trends and delegate with confidence;
  • excellent mentoring/leadership and communication skills with the ability to maintain the highest of culinary standards;
  • prior culinary/kitchen management experience within a restaurant, lounge or other hospitality-focused venue;
  • strong coaching skills; and/or
  • a passion for food and service.
