Role Overview

Creating solutions for everything from dining and nutrition to facilities maintenance and rehabilitative services, Sodexo partners with government agencies and military organizations to improve people’s quality of life and make a positive impact.

 

We are seeking a General Manager 3 of food service for a high profile Government dining account at Ft. Meade, MD.  This café will average sales of $2.5 million for the year and supervise up to 20 employees.   Retail operations including national and Sodexo branded concepts.  Applicants must be detail oriented and have experience with financials, labor management, HACCP and have P&L responsibility.

What You'll Do

  • Provide a safe and secure work environment for self, employees, and customers;
  • develop and maintain client and customer relationships;
  • Provide hands-on assistance as necessary to assure delivery of quality services;
  • Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting and managing food, supply, and labor costs ;
  • have oversight of daily food operations and deliver a high-quality product; and/or
  • ensure Sodexo standards are met to include compliance with company food and physical safety programs.
